Mary Kay Ash:
If you think you can, you can. And if you think you can't, you're right.

I like it because it's very simple (not complicated like other teen quotes) and because it's true!

I really liked most of the quotes. One of the best ones was: "I'll tell ya how to stay young: Hang out with older people." By: Bob Hope
I liked it because it was funny. Really, I liked most of them so it was hard to choose.
Bob Hope was born in 1903 and died in 2003. He was an american actor and comedian. He was declared the first and only honorary veteran of the U.S. armed forces. He hosted USO shows and he entertained on many USO tours.
I also agree with Alma, the quote she chose is very realistic and I like it too.

John Wooden:
Young people need models, not critics.

I agree with that ! It 's true and simple, we all need someone to inspire us and show us the right way. Sometimes the critic is good, but to a certain limit.
John Robert Wooden was born in 1910he is a retired American basketball coach. He is a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame as both a player and as a coach. He was the first person ever enshrined in both categories.

Italian proverb:
Little children - headache, big children - heartache.

When we were children we were often sick parents are beginning to receive headaches, but now they have headache and heartache. If we are sad, they are sad to ! Sometimes they say: heart hurts me because of you :)

Mothers of teenagers know why animals eat their young.
Unknown.
Well I think that parents are the ones that should be eaten (sometimes)!

You can only be young once. But you can allways be immature, by Dave Barty.
Well thats true but when I grow up I hope I won't be as lame as some older people, but i also don't want to be immature... I just hope that I will be enough "cool" for the teenagers when I grow up!
A.E. 9.B peace.

The person born with a talent they are meant to use will find their greatest happiness in using it.

Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe

i like this one because i think it's true. but still...sometimes it's hard to find that very special talent you have been born with..=/

By the way..
Von Goethe was a German writer. He was a poet, novelist and playwright, but he was also an actor, administrator, scientist, geologist, botanist and philosopher. He had a very important influence on lots of writers and thinkers in the 19th century.
