23 April 2014 marked the 450th anniversary of Britain’s most famous playwright and poet-William Shakespeare.
He wrote mainly tragedies including Hamlet, King Lear, Othello, and Macbeth, considered some of the finest works in the English language.
Many of his Works are translated into Slovenian; Hamlet,The Most Lamentable Romaine Tragedie of Titus Andronicus and many sonnets. I haven't seen any of his plays, with an exeption of many versions of his work Romeo and Juliet. But i would like to see some of his plays in theatre in too, because that is much more exciting than watching a movie version of a play.
My favourite Shakespeare's quote is: THERE IS NOTHING EITHER GOOD OR BAD, BUT THINKING MAKES IT SO.

Just like Karin and Aleksandra already wrote; we celebrate the 450th anniversary of one of the most famous playwrights and poets - William Shakespeare. He wrote many tragedies, such as Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet. He is still adored my many.
Yes, many of his works are translated into Slovenian - tragedies and many sonnets.
I haven't seen any of his plays. Honestly, I haven't even seen Romeo and Juliet. I really don't know why... I would love to go to a theatre one day and see one of his amazing tragedies.
He has a lot of deep and phenomenal quotes... But my favourite is: Love me or hate me, both are in my favor. If you love me, I will always be in your heart. If you hate me, I will always be in your mind.

William Shakespeare was the most known English poet, playwright and actor.
He wrote Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, which were translated into Slovenian.
I have seen Romeo and Juliet and I was amazed. I thinks it's a (love) story that everybody should know something about.
Shakespeare was a very deep and thoughtful person. He had a lot of very interesting quotes, but my favourite is: "If music be the food of love, play on."

William Shakespeare was a famous English poet and playwright. He died on 23rd April in year 1616, making this year's 23rd April his 450th anniversary. He wrote comedies, tragedies and poetry. His most known works are: Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet. Many of his works are translated in Slovenian. Most of the translated works in Slovenian are tragedies and sonnets, such as Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet. I've once seen one of his most famous works Romeo and Juliet in theatre. William Shakespeare was born on the 26th of April 1564. He was the greatest writer in English literature. He was a poet, playwright and actor. He was also dramatist and he wrote many tragedies like Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, and also comedies and histories.
Many of his tragedies and sonnets are translated into Slovene. I like his tragedy Romeo and Juliet the most and I have already seen it in a film and in the ballet performance. It was amazing.
He was good in writting quotes specially in love ones. I think they are still popular among teenagers. My favourite one is:
"DOUBT THOU THE STARS ARE FIRE;
DOUBT THAT THE SUN DOTH MOVE;
DOUBT TRUTH TO BE A LIAR;
BUT NEVER DOUBT I LOVE."

William Shakespeare was born on the 26th of April 1564. He was a famous English poet, playwright and actor. He wrote dramas, tragedies, comedies and sonnets. His plays have been translated into every major living language and are performed more often than those of any other playwright.His play Hamlet was translated into Slovenian by Oton Župančič. I haven't read any of his work, but I would love to. My favourite Shakespeare's quote is: It's not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.

I only read a passage of Romeo and Juliet in English class. One of his quotes is:"A friend is one that knows you as you are, understand where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow."

I didn't see any of his films or read books. But when I was in Verona I went in Juliet's house. I even wrote her a letter, but she didn't write me back. At first i hoped she will, but I know that she won't. My favourite quote is: To do a great right do a little wrong.
