Our plans for the weekend

Hello, everyone and welcome back to our blog.

Holidays are over, but we still have weekends to rest, relax and do what we like. What are you going to do at the weekend? Are you going to stay at home or visit someone? Are you going to study (English) and write homework or just relax, watch TV, play computer games and do what you like?

I'm probably going to stay at home (the weather forecast is bad), read and rest or perhaps visit some friends. What about you? What are you going to do at the weekend?

It's time to say goodbye ...

The end of school year for the 9-graders is nearing fast and with it the end of your primary school education. You are ready to go out in the world and expand your horizon. As this is our farewell post, write a few lines about some good, funny or interesting things that have happened to you over these years at our school and that you'll always remember. Eleanor Roosvelt once said: "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." The future belongs to you! So believe in yourself, in your strengths and talents and don't forget to dream on .... PS You are always welcome to write your comments in my blog.

Our poetry evening

Here are some photos from our Poetry evening, that took place on 13th April at our English classroom. Congratulations to all courageous participants, especially those who read their own poetry (either in Slovenian, English or Spanish). The evening was really a great success.

At school we have been dicussing different rules that you have at home. Do you have any rules about computers? Are you allowed to use computer as much as you want? The Railway Children

Hello, readers of the Nesbit's famous book.

I hope that you've all read at least the first chapter. (Remember you have to read the first four chapters till next Wednesday!) In it the life of the three children changes for good. They move to a country cottage and they don’t know what really happened to their father. How do the children cope with the great change? How do they feel about the absence of their father? What do you think – why doesn’t mother tell them much about where the father is?
